Editorial Policy

SC Charleston is committed to providing accurate, helpful, and trustworthy information for residents, visitors, and businesses in the Charleston area.

How Listings Are Selected

Listings are included based on relevance to the Charleston area, quality of service, and public availability of business information. We accept submissions from business owners and also research businesses independently.

Paid vs. Free Listings

Basic directory listings are free. Featured and sponsored listings are paid placements. Paid listings are clearly identified. Payment does not influence editorial content, recommendations, or guide articles.

Content Standards

All guide articles and directory descriptions are written to be factual and useful. We do not publish misleading claims or fabricated reviews. If we recommend a business, it is based on public reputation, service quality, and community relevance.

Corrections

If you notice inaccurate information in a listing or article, please contact us and we will review and correct it promptly.
